Computerised engraving of a key ring

This is the key ring to be engraved.

The details of the engraving have been recorded on the customer repair packet and given to our fully trained engraver.

Click to enlarge Image The words to be engraved are then entered into the computer which then converts these into a form the engraver understands. The engraving machine, which is picture here is fully controlled by the computer to ensure accuracy and perfect lettering.
Click to enlarge Image The key ring is loaded into a jig to ensure it does not move during the engraving process. The nylon clams ensure that the piece is not damaged.
The engraving tool is tipped with a diamond point which produces very fine and exact lines on the item.
Click to enlarge Image During the engraving process the engraving tip is moved across the key ring by the computer to produce the desired lettering.
Click to enlarge Image When the engraving is complete the item is removed from the machine.

This is the finished product. The computer produces very accurate and fine engraving that cannot be reproduced by hand.

A wide variety of products can be engraved, even rounded surfaces. We can even do different styles of lettering.
