This is the
key ring to be engraved.
The details
of the engraving have been recorded on the customer repair packet and
given to our fully trained engraver.
|
 |
The
words to be engraved are then entered into the computer which then converts
these into a form the engraver understands. The engraving machine, which
is picture here is fully controlled by the computer to ensure accuracy and
perfect lettering. |
 |
The
key ring is loaded into a jig to ensure it does not move during the engraving
process. The nylon clams ensure that the piece is not damaged.
The engraving tool is tipped with a diamond point which produces very fine
and exact lines on the item. |
 |
During
the engraving process the engraving tip is moved across the key ring by
the computer to produce the desired lettering. |
 |
When
the engraving is complete the item is removed from the machine. |
 |
This is the
finished product. The computer produces very accurate and fine engraving
that cannot be reproduced by hand.
A wide variety
of products can be engraved, even rounded surfaces. We can even do different
styles of lettering.
